October 21 1818. He married Martha Jane Yardley, who was born June
15 1824, daughter of Captain Thomas Yardley, who was in Jackson'sArmy
at the Battle of New Orleans. James H Kelton was in the army thattook
the Indians from Tennessee to the Indian Territory. He and his wifehad
seven children, namely:
John Thomas, Sarah Elizabeth, Alice Jane, Mary Louise, William James,
