OBITUARY......James B. Jones, age 78, of Murfreesboro, passed away on November 25, 2009 at NHC. He was a native and lifelong resident of Rutherford County. He was a member of the Compton Road Church of Christ and retired from the maintenance division at Middle Tennessee State University. James was preceded in death by his parents, Vester Jewell Jones and Veronia Flippens Jones; brothers, Jerry Jones and Pete Jones; and sister, Linda Sue Barrett. He is survived by his wife, Lillie Mae Jones; stepson, Willliam G. Jakes; stepdaughter, Linda (Henry) Rohling; brothers, Charlie Jones, Bobby Jones, and Larry Wayne Jones; and sister, Stella Qualls. Chapel service for James will be held at 11a.m. on Satrurday, November 28, 2009 at Jennings and Ayres Chapel with David Arnold officiating, interment will follow at Coleman Cemetery. Visitiation with the family will be from 10 a.m. until serivce time on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at Jennings and Ayres Funeral Home, 820 S. Church Street, Murfreesboro, TN..
