In the search for a northern connection to Thomas Allen Jamison of Rutherford, Co., TN the records are not clear or not found.

This John W. Jamison has not been determined to be a kin, however, thereare indications tha t perhaps his background have similar factors. Allen was said to be born in Ohio by one censu s and then in Kentucky by anotherso the Ohio, Kentucky might be a valid clue. No brothers, sisters orparents have ever been established for Thomas Allen of Rutherford Co.,TN, but these records are included per chance a cousin might know acommon factor between these two Jamiso n Families.

Thomas Allen of Rutherford was born in 1811 which is earlier than JohnW. Jamison born in 182 0 so at best they could only be brothers, cousinsor uncle/nephews.
