Gladys Marie Lockaby Humfleet, 86, of London passed away Saturday, March14, 2009, in Laurel H eights Nursing Home. Born July 10, 1922, in LaurelCounty, she was the daughter of James Rober t Hodge and Delia BurkhartHodge.
She was a member of the Apostolic Church of God in Jesus' Name.
She especially enjoyed hummingbirds and collecting "what-nots.
"In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands,Paul Estill Lockaby an d Barney Humfleet;
four children, Mary Rose Bailey, Claude Earl Lockaby, Arnold Lee Lockabyand Charlotte Diane S aylor;
six brothers, Lawrence, Claude, Clarence, Leo, James Robert and JoshuaHodge.
Survivors include eight children, Margie Schell and husband John, ofLondon, Willard Dean Lock aby and wife Lucy, of Nicholasville, Charles RayLockaby and wife Laura, of London, Marie Lath am, of Maryl and, CarolynBaker, of Manchester, Shirley Baker, of London, Thelma Baker, of Lon don,and Brenda Tabor and husband Dale, of London;
40 grandchildren, 91 great-grandchildren, and fourgreat-great-grandchildren;
four sisters, Loretta Hurst, Carrie Root, Delia Mae Proffitt and HalliePennington;
one brother, Cecil Jesse Hodge; as well as many other family members andfriends, all who mour n her passing.
Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2009, in the HartFuneral Home Chapel with B rother Larry Roark officiating.
Burial followed in McHargue Cemetery at Lily with Steve Lockaby, GaryTabor, Larry Tabor, Mich ael Lockaby, Nicholas Boggs and Barry Ray BaileyII serving as pallbearers.

Hallie Rose Pennington, 76, of Fayetteville, Ohio, formerly of Lily,passed away Monday, May 1 1, 2009.
She was a daughter of James Robert and Delia (Burkhart) Hodge, born tothem June 14, 1932 in L ily.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by six brothers anda sister, Leo Hodge , Claude Hodge, Clarnence Hodge, James Hodge, LawrenceHodge, Junior Hodge and Gladys Humfleet .
Survivors include her children, Sandra Williams, of Mount Orab, Ohio,Deborah Hill, of Fayette ville, Ohio, Patricia Pell, of Fayetteville,Ohio, Ricky Cotton, of Floral City, Fla., and Ran dy E. Cotton , of SaintFrancesville, Ill.; brothers and sisters, Carrie Root, of Chicago, Ill .,Loretta Hurst, of Stanford, Ky., Cecil Hodge, of London, and DeliaProffitt, of Barbourville , Ky.; grandchildren, Mi chael, Stacey, Melissa,Garrett, Marty, Hallie Beth, Jessica, Keith a nd Joseph;great-grandchildren, Alexis, Chloe, Ella, Mikey and soon to be borngreat-grandson o f granddaughter, Stacey; and many ni eces, nephews andother relatives and friends to mourn he r passing.
Funeral services were at 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2009, atHouse-Rawlings Funeral Home Chapel .
Burial followed in McHargue Cemetery at Lily.
