He is mentioned in the History of Lower Scioto Valley as being William of
Oregon and listed as a child of John and Catherine Hamilton. His family
originally came to Ohio in 1792. The History of Union and Wallowa Co.
gave his death. It did not give place.

ANNIE MARIE BOYD COULTER age 76 of Murfreesboro, died Wednesday July 8, 2009. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Herman Roy and Fannie Tennessee Davis Boyd.
She is survived by a daughter Elizabeth A. Royalty, son Jeff Coulter both of Murfreesboro, three grandchildren Emily Royalty, Heather Coulter, Seannie Coulter and a sister Alice Tomlin. She was preceded by abrother Herman Boyd.
Memorial Service will be held 4:00 P.M. Saturday, with Visitation beginning at 2:00 P.M. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Pastor Mike Lee will officiate. She was a former employee of Murfreesboro Radiology and Murfreesboro Optical Dispensary. www.woodfinchapel.com 893-5151.

Mrs. Lyndon Baines Johnson was born Claudia Alta Taylor in Karnack, Texason December 22, 1912 . Mrs. Johnson's father was Thomas Jefferson Taylor,owner of a general store who declared him self "dealer in everything." Hermother, Minnie Pattillo Taylor, died when the little girl wa s butfive-years old. She had two older brothers, Tommy and Tony. After hermother's death, Mrs . Johnson's Aunt Effie P attillo moved to Karnack tolook after her. At an early age, a nursem aid said she was "as purty as alady bird" -- thereafter she became known to her family and fr iends as"Lady Bird." Mrs. Johnson gr ew up in the "Brick House" and attended asmall rural ele mentary school in Harrison County, Texas. She graduatedfrom Marshall High School in 1928, an d attended Saint Mary's EpiscopalSchool for Girls in Dallas from 1928 to 1930.
Mrs. Johnson entered the University of Texas in 1930 and received abachelor of arts degree i n 1933 with a major in history. She earned ajournalism degree in 1934. Many colleges and univ ersities have awardedMrs. Johnson honorary degrees. She supports and continues to be veryinte rested in the activities of the Lyndon B. Johnson Library and Museumand the Lyndon B. Johnso n School of Public Affair s, both located on TheUniversity of Texas campus in Austin.
After a whirlwind courtship, Claudia Alta Taylor and Lyndon BainesJohnson were married on Nov ember 17, 1934 at Saint Mark's EpiscopalChurch in San Antonio, Texas. Two daughters were bor n to the John sons:Lynda Bird Johnson (1944) (Mrs. Charles S. Robb) resides in Virginia; andL uci Baines Johnson (1947) (married to Ian Turpin) lives in Austin,Texas. Mrs. Johnson has sev en grandchildren -- one b oy and six girls --and five great-grandchildren. President Johnso n died at his beloved LBJRanch on January 22, 1973.
