I told you about Howell Henry, well one of his brothers John Harfis M.Parmelia Uhles ? in 181 4 in smith City, TN. 14 children. (Hargis') hadmany children Son Henderson, b. 1819 m. Carm ita Cardua C armilla Hargis (they also intermarried) had 7 children. Daughter Sarah Drucill a b.07-24-1846 married Wm Abner Hargis (Howells son) and had 9 children. SonEason Howell Harg is married twice. Second m arriage to Luetta Owne Jan 21899. They had 8 children,but you ar e interested in the first marriage.Eason was born 12-27-1867 in Macon City. married Amy Le e on 07-11-1886.She was born 01-04-1870 d. 01-05-1898. He died 04-20-1923 in Lafayetteand i s buried in Cemetery on Coley Property. He owned and operated aGenara store on Long Fork Cree k. He died of pneumonia. Mason ? wascharter member of L ong Fork Baptist church. Eason and Am y Lee Carter had4 children; Vicky, William Elmer, Robert Earnest and Mollie Lela. VickyLee Ha rgis was b. 01-20-1889,married M.J. Leonard Ward on 02-05-1905 byJ. B.R. Wright, witnessed b y E.W. Owens. M.J. was born 06-12-1886 d.Sparta Ill. Vicky died 10-25-1974, both are burie d in Caledonia Cemeteryin Sparta Ill. Children, Carlos Ward b. 06-03-1908, Amos War d b11-10- 1909, Marjorie and Margaret (twins) 04-26-1921 and Jane Ward b06-26-1923.

EDWARD M. PITTS, age 84 of Murfreesboro died Monday May 3, 2010 at MiddleTennessee Medical Ce nter. He was a native of Rutherford County and theson of the Late E.A. and Willie Bennett Pit ts.
Graveside service will be 11:00AM Thursday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.Brother Nicky Nichol s will officiate. Visitation will be 4:00PM to 8:00PMWednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
Mr. Pitts is survived by his wife, Gloria Drake Pitts; son anddaughter-in-law, Marion and Mar y Pitts of Murfreesboro; brother, William(Jannell) Pitts of Murfreesboro; sister, Martha (Mil ton) Pearre ofFranklin; granddaughter, Jennifer Pitts of Murfreesboro, andgreat-grandson, Aub ry Kieras Pitts of Murfreesboro. Mr. Pitts waspreceded in death by brother, Richard Pitts, an d two sisters, Anelle Tomberlin, and Katherine Brown.
Mr. Pitts was member of the Baptist church. He was a farmer and retiredwater treatment engine er and safety inspector at Alvin C. York MedicalCenter.
