Obituary: Robert L Andrews, aged 50 years, a farmer of upper Dry Fork,about six miles southea st of Lafayette died at Lebanon hospital on Fridaynight of last week. He was striken with gal lstone troub le some time agoand had undergone an operation for relief. A blood clot formed s oon afterthe operation, but relief was obtained from this trouble. But on Fridaynight he die d unexpectedly. He leaves his wife, Mrs Alice DavenportAndrews, whom he married in 1941; tw o sons Charlie and Louis, both ofMacon County, four daughters, Mrs Mae Coker of Indianapolis , Mrs LouellaSteen of near Lafayette, a ll four chldren having as their mother MrsClarissa Sh rum Andrews whom the deceased married in 1928, and BarbaraNelle and Brenda Gail Andrews, wit h their mother Mrs Alice Andrews; threegrandchildren , a step-daughter, and a step-grandchild ; three brothers ,Jesse Andrews of Indiana, and Benton and Johnnie Andrews both of thiscounty , Mrs Ollie Brooks of Franklin KY.

Funeral services were held at Beech Bottom Baptist Church on Sunday,after which burial was ma de in the Barnsfield Cemetery. Elder CalvinGregory was in charge of the funeral which was lar gely attende d. Thedeceased was a good man and had been a member of Beech Bottom Baptistchurc h for a number of years. The deceased was a hard-working honest manand had the esteem and con fidence of a large circl e of friends whoregret his rather early death. He was the son of th e late Mr and MrsRichad Andrews who died some years ago.
