He was preceded in death by father, Alford Norton;mother, Laura Bingham Norton, and siste r Rachel Norton. Survived by wifeof 59 1\2 years, Vivian Arrington Norton; sister, Nellie Nor ton Walker;sons, Danny (Judy) Norton and Larry (Sherrie) Norton; grandchildren,Angela (Randy ) Hankins, Lori Norton, Mark Norton and
fiancee Amanda Boyer, and Victoria Norton; great grandchild, ColtonWillits, and step great g randdaughter, Heather Hankins, all of Lebanon,Tn.; nephews, Coleman Walker and John Walker; n ieces, Kathl een McCain,Carolyn Jackson, Joyce Mathis, Peggie Vanhook, and Cheryl Walker. Mr. Norton was a former part owner, vice president and general manager ofKenneth O. Lester Co. i n Lebanon for 35 years. H e became affiliated in1974 with American Family Assurance Company o f Columbus, GA serving 25years as Daniel Norton and Associates. He was a member and former de aconof the Church of Christ, serving in that capacity for many years. Hebecame a member of th e Lebanon Golf and Country Club soon after itsinception and became president in 1960. He wa s an active member of theLebanon Lions Club and se rved as president for two terms as well as serving on other committees. He was a founding member of the Wilson Co.Association of Life Un derwriters, having served as president, as well asother office s, he also served on the Boar d of Directors of Cedar Sr.Inc. of Lebanon until his death. Funeral services will be conducte d March20, 2000 at the College St. Church of Christ, with Dr. Larry Locke an dBro. Lee Mangru m officiating. Visitation Sunday March 19, 2000, 11:00a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Partlow Funeral Ch apel. Survived by da ughters, Mrs .
