Burial in Hopewell Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Gregory was a homemaker and a member of The Servant Church in Gallatin. Harvey Harold Gregory, 87, of Springfield, died Friday October 23, 2009 at Highland Manor in Portland. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday October 24th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Yoder officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Mr. Gregory was born January 21, 1922 in Logan County, KY to the late Harvey Wesley and Carrie Ann Reynolds Gregory. He was a retired supervisor of the paint department at Unarco and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Earline Burnett Gregory, brothers: Carl and Rayburn Gregory, and by his sisters: Margaret Fisher, Fern Nash, Racheal Stark. He is survived by sons: Thomas (Patsy) Gregory of Hohenwald, Rayburn A. Gregory, Bruce (Ellen) Gregory, Ronald Harold Gregory, and Gary Wayne Gregory all of Springfield, daughters: Pat (Cliff) Collier of Springfield, Sue (Donald) Agee of Murfreesboro, brother: Walter Gregory of Greenbrier, sisters: Barbara Jean Wilhelm of Greenbrier, Mary Lipscomb of Springfield, 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.

Walter Lee Gregory, age 86, of Greenbrier, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at NorthCrest Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 27, 2012 at 1pm at the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Springfield with Brother Bob Carroll and Brother Mike Cummings officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery with Jason Norman, Joshua Gregory, Justin Gregory, Joseph Gregory, Kevin Nash and Donnie Wilhelm serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are the American Legion Post #45 in Greenbrier.

*Visitation will be held Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield from 2-8pm and at the church from 10am until the hour of service on Friday morning.

Mr. Gregory was born December 29, 1925 in Robertson County to the late Harvey and Carrie Reynolds Gregory. He was an ironworker for the Local 492 in Nashville and member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. In addition to his parents Mr. Gregory is preceded in death by his brothers Carl Gregory and Harold Gregory, and by his sisters, Fern Nash, Rachel Stark and Margaret Fisher. Mr. Gregory is survived by his wife, Roberta Fitts Gregory; sons, David Lee (JoAnn) Gregory of Springfield and Walter Timothy "Tim" (Brenda) Gregory of Greenbrier; daughter, Deborah Elaine "Debbie" (David) Norman of Clarksville; sisters, Mary Lipscomb of Springfield and Jean Wilhelm of Greenbrier; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, three daughters, one son, three stepchildren, three sisters-in-law, nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Mon., July 19, 2004 at Wilkinson-Wiseman Funeral Home. Burial was at Providence Cemetery in Franklin, Ky.

Vernon B. Gammon Dies Unexpectedly at age of 60-years
Funeral services for Vernon Biancy Gammon, age 60, were held at 10:30 Monday morning at Booker Funeral Home on West Cedar Street. Rev. Billy Chaffin and Rev. Bill Coleman officiated with burial at Greenlawn. Mr. Gammon of the Peden Mill Road died suddenly Saturday afternoon of a heart condition while driving a tractor on his farm in Southeast Simpson. A native of Macon County, Tenn., he was the son of the late Herschel and Myrtle Shrum Gammon. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Etta Reed Farmer Gammon; two daughters, Mrs. Anna Margaret Mayes of Simpson County and Mrs. Martha Jane McDonald of Owensboro; one sister, Mrs. Dewey Hutchens of Louisville, Ky, and three grandchildren.

John Wesley Gregory, III, age 24 of Franklin, died Sunday, July 24th, at the Medical Center in Franklin. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Crafton Funeral Home where services will be held Wednesday at 11am with burial to follow in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. A native of Simpson County, he was the son of John Wesley Gregory, II of Franklin and Nell Camille Cassetty Norwood of Franklin. He was a member of Round Pond Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his grandfather – John Wesley Gregory, Sr. and a son – Hayden Braxton Gregory. In addition to his parents, he is survived by 1 sister – Lisa Michelle Beck of Alvaton; 1 brother – Steven Gossett Gregory of Franklin; step father – Alan Norwood of Franklin; step mother – Jennifer Gregory of Franklin; 1 step sister – Jessica Lynn Crafton of Lewisburg, KY and 2 step brothers – Jarred Daniel Rowland and Donald Bronson Norwood both of Franklin; paternal grandmother – RoseMary Gregory of Franklin and maternal grandparents – Sterling and Sue Cassetty of Franklin; loyal companion - Valerie Johnson; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3pm to 9pm Tuesday and after 6am Wednesday at Crafton Funeral Home.
