Mrs. Mary Laverne Gregory Karkos, age 60 of Franklin, died Saturday, June 16th, at her residence. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Crafton Funeral Home where a memorial service will be held Tuesday at 2pm with burial to follow in Green Lawn Cemetery. A native of Simpson County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Ray Gregory and Dorothy Smith Gregory. She graduated from Tarrant County College in Texas. Mrs. Karkos was preceded in death by her brother William Lonnie Gregory. Survivors include her husband Ron Karkos of Franklin; 1 son David Burgett of Franklin; 1 daughter Rikkie Marie Overstreet of Franklin; 1 brother Daniel Ray Gregory of Franklin; 1 sister Virginia Stradtner of Franklin; 1 step daughter Alissa Kendra Karkos Williams of Orlando, Florida; 3 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; life long friends Wilda Sanders and Danita Bankston; several nieces and nepehws.

Dorothy M. Ranburger Gregory, 70, of Franklin died Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.
She was born in Daviess County, a daughter of the late John Alexander Ranburger and the late Myrtle Genevieve Sosh Ranburger. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gregory was preceded in death her husband, David Rabon Gregory; her son, Jackie Johnson and her brothers, Dean, Jackie and Larry Ranburger.
Mrs. Gregory was attending Word of Life Church and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter, Kim Hadden and her husband James of Auburn; her sisters, Wilma Gass and Brenda Graves both of Franklin and Ida Johns of Portland, Tenn.; her brothers, Gilbert Ranburger of Bowling Green and John A. Ranburger of Franklin; her grandchildren, Ashley Taylor and Brandon Montgomery, and her great-grandchildren, Karley Pearson and Payton Montgomery.
Mrs. Dorothy Loretta Gregory, age 94 of Franklin, died Saturday, May 10th at her residence.
A native of Simpson County, she was the daughter of the late Irving Gregory and Lonnie Bush Gregory.
She was a retired employee of Potter & Brumfield.
Mrs. Gregory was preceded in death by her husband – Burton Gregory.
Survivors include 2 sisters in law – Rose Mary Gregory and Mary Agnes Gregory both of Franklin;
14 nieces and nephews including John Gregory of Franklin.

A native of Simpson Co., KY. he was the son of the late Brady Oberton Gregory and the late Mary Barrett Gregory. He was preceded in death by a brother John Douglas Gregory.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Nadine Phillips Gregory, a son Tim David Gregory (Heather) of Nashville, TN., 2 grandchildren Jack and Ava Gregory and a sister Ruth Ann Gregory of Bowling Green, KY. and his dog Liberty.
Mr. Gregory attended the Clearview Baptist Church and was a member of the Franklin First United Methodist Church where had served as Chairman of the Administrative Board and served as a delegate at the Methodist Conference. He had served as chairman of the Franklin-Simpson Hospital Board, served as secretary for 28 years for the Franklin-Simpson Planning and Zoning Board and former Chairman of the Western KY. University Society for manufacturing engineers.
He was a member of the Southern KY. Antique Car Association and was Veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

She passed away, April 1, 1976, in Warren County, Kentucky.She married Harry C. Gregory on Dec. 31, 1914. The couple were the parent's of at least one known child.

Coston Anderson Gregory, 91, of Friendship Road, Auburn, died Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Logan Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Logan County, December 23, 1920 to the late Noah Sampson Gregory and Bessie Anderson Gregory. He was a farmer and a member of Middleton Baptist Church where he served as Deacon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Gregory.
Funeral Services for Coston Anderson Gregory, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Butch Morris and Bro. Denny Burchett officiating, burial will take place in the Sulphur Spring Cemetery. Visitation at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home will be held Monday evening from 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday morning from 8 a.m. until the time of the service. Mr. Gregory was a retired truck driver and member of the First Baptist Church. He retired from the US Army Reserves and served in the KY National Guard, a member of the American Legion Post 62, member of the Simpson County Fish & Game Club and a member of the N. R. A. (National Rifle Association).

Mr. Jerry Gregory of Lafayette and a longtime resident of Pleasant Shade died Sunday evening March 23, 2014 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Nashville.
Private graveside services and interment were conducted Wednesday March 26th from the Pleasant Shade Cemetery where Mr. Gregory was buried alongside his parents. Eld. John Gregory officiated at the services.
Mr. Gregory was at the Anderson and Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs.
Born Jerry Wayne Gregory in Pleasant Shade on May 9, 1945, he was the only child of the late Lester Herald “Slackum” Gregory who died at the age of 84 on October 8, 2002 and Annie Lee “Ann” Price Gregory who died at the age of 58 on April 22, 1975.
Mr. Gregory was a 1963 graduate of Smith County High School where he majored in Science, mathematics and foreign languages.
Shortly after graduating he began employment with the United States Postal Service, a career that spanned 42 years, 1 month and 26 days. From 1988 until his retirement on May 1, 2007 he served as the Carthage Postmaster.
Survivors are his daughter Annie Gregory Howard and husband Justin; granddaughter, Paisley Howard and grandson Jude Howard all of Sharps Chapel, Tennessee.

Paul Jones Gregory, age 96, of Nashville, and formerly of Robertson County, TN, died Sunday, January 1, 2012 at St. Thomas Hospital. Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, January 3, at 11 o'clock am, in the Elmwood Cemetery with Rev. Gene Mims officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service. Mr. Gregory was born April 26, 1915 in Robertson County to the late Irvey O. and Belle Jones Gregory. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in WWII, and served as crew chief and aerial engineer on a B-24 Bomber, and as crew chief he also supervised the repair and maintenance of a variety of other airplanes. He was a retired Vice-President of Keith Simmons Co. in Nashville, and was a member of Judson Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gregory is preceded in death by his wife, Louise Izor Gregory. Survivors include his daughter, Bettye Rose Gregory Siemon, and son-in-law, Bill, of Westerville, OH; granddaughters, Elizabeth Siemon Konves, and her husband Bill, of Powell, OH, and Christina Siemon Muirhead-Gould, and her husband, John, of Delaware, OH; and, six great-grandchildren. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association. All donations may be sent in care of Austin & Bell.
