Jorene Pryor Cogdell, age 68, of Gallatin, passed away Friday, February 1, 2013 after a lengthy illness. Funeral service will be Wednesday, Feb 6, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Gallatin Cemetery with friends and family serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 5, from 2-8 p.m. and Wednesday February 6, from 9 a.m. until time of service. She was a devoted wife and mother, and a member of the Hartsville Pike Church of Christ. She was born March 22, 1944 in Hartsville, TN to the late Cecil Robert Pryor and Laura Eugenia Oldham Pryor. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Katherine Ann Pryor and grandson Anthony Robert Brashear. She is survived by her husband Jerrie R. Cogdell, daughters Cathy Brashear of Gallatin, and Laura Brackbill (Doug) of Merryville, LA, son, Robert Lee Cogdell of Gallatin, grandchildren, Chris Brashear (Christy) Philip Dobbler, Travis Dobbler, Elizabeth Cogdell, Ashley Cogdell, Alley Cogdell, Skylar Cogdell, Brandon Cogdell, Victoria Brackbill, Sam Brackbill, and Amy Brackbill, and great-grandchildren Kate Brashear, and Bradon Cogdell. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hartsville Pike Church of Christ Camp Fund or American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
