Individuals : Gregory Jeffery Mitchell
Jeffery Mitchell Gregory was born May 31, 1995 to Jeffery Lane Gregory and Barbara Lynn Gregory in Macon County, Tennessee. He is one of four siblings.
He was preceded in death by one infant sister, Sarah Bess Gregory.
Jeffery had health problems most of his life, but he didn’t let it slow him down. Like most teenagers Jeffery enjoyed playing video games and chess. He was very talented when it came to composing music and playing piano.
Jeffery cared for his family deeply, his little sister “CJ” was most important to him. He was always helping care for her needs, and would watch CJ so his mother could have time to do other things.
Jeffery was a clown at heart and enjoyed life to the fullest, he always wore a smile.
After being saved, Jeffery joined Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church where he preached his first sermon after being called to spread the word. Jeffery spent a lot of his time doing what he loved, reading and studying the Bible.
On Monday morning, October 27, 2014 at the young age of 19, the Master called his servant home. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, but our loss is Heaven’s gain.
Brother Jeffery is survived by; Father, Jeffery Lane Gregory, Mother, Barbara Lynn Gregory, and Sisters, Chevelle “C.J.” Russell, Erica (Chad) Whittemore, and Alisha Gregory.
Funeral services for Brother Jeffery Mitchell Gregory were conducted Wednesday, October 29th, at 11 am from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Ricky Wilson, Brother Troy White, and Brother Jessie Miller. Interment followed in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.
