The following information is from Marie Taylor, (40 Timberhill Drive,Jackson, TN 38301). Sh e reports that her grandfather, Patrick Henry Andrews (1838-1913) had a brother, William Drury Andrews, who wascaptured by the Federal Troops during the Civil War and died in prisoncam p in Alton, Ill. Parents were Isaac H. Andrews and Martha AmandaCooper. They had 10 childre n several of them born in Virginia. In 1842they travel by covered wagon from Sussex Co. Vir ginia to Brentwoodsettlement in Tennessee. Later settling in Fayette Co., TN. Issaac H.paren ts were Isaac Andrews and Patsy Loftin who married in Apr 30, 1807in Sussex Co. Henry Andrews , his father, list in his will probated inSussex Co., in 1801 the following: wife Lucy; child ren: George, Isaac,Ambrose, Abby, Henry, Elizabeth , Amy, Lucy and Sallie. Info dated May17 , 1977 by Marie Taylor in letter to Robert "Bob" Andrews.

returned to Smith County and married Elizabeth Gammon in 1814. In the Smith
Co Tennessee Census of 1820, Microfilm #M33-125, His job was shown as
agriculture. Also spelled Drewry. received a land grant of 37.51 acres of land in
