Vervie Taylor Jamison, age 84, of Camden, Tenn., died at St. ThomasHospital in Nashville , Tenn., on Thursday, April 27, 2000 at 3:15 A.M.Services were held on Friday, April 28, 200 0 at the Camd en church ofChrist with Wayne Jamison (his nephew), Mickey Beam and George Laux officiating. Burial was at the Coleman Cemetery in Murfreesboro, Tenn.with Stockdale-Malin F uneral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Jamison was born on June 28, 1915 in Readyville, Tenn., to thelate Robert Taylor an d Ada Cora Boyd Jamison. Mr. Jamison is survived byhis wife Lucille Andrews Jamison, one daug hter June Car olyn Jamison ofBrentwood, TN.; two sons, Glenn Taylor Jamison of Huntsville, AL , and JoeAnthony Jamison of Marietta, GA; six grandchildren, and seven greatgrandchildren.
Mr. Jamison was preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen Rodgers;and four brothers, Thu rman, Fred, Ralph and Aubrey Jamison.

Mr. McDaniel proudly served in the United States Army in the 816 Med Air Evacuation Squadrant in World War II with the air evacuation unit in the European front from 1941 to 1945. Mr. McDaniel worked for Elwyn's Dry Cleaning for a couple of years and soon after he began to work in funeral service on April 6, 1950, and graduated from St. Louis College of Mortuary Science in 1952. It was then that McDaniel Funeral Homes were established. Mr. McDaniel served the Sparta area as a funeral director/embalmer for over 57 years until he retired at the age of 91. He was active at the Sparta Gospel Chapel for over 58 years and presently attended Bethel Reformed Presbyterian Church in Sparta, Ill. He had also been active in the Youth for Christ. He was past president of the Sparta Rotary Club.
