Henry escaped by jumping through a small window over the engine. Reuben failed to get out and was exposed to all the boiling fluid and steam. When he got out he was scalded all over, his hands being almost burned off. His left ear was burned to a crisp. Dr. Boggs was immediately summoned and did all he could for him night and day until his death, which occurred Sunday evening about 5 o'clock. Funeral services conducted on Monday by Rev. N.D. Birth day given as June 1913 age 10 months, but the day not given. Her address listed was the same as S M Jameson. Bronchial pneumonia listed as cause of death.
Bronchial pneumonia listed as cause of death.
Research brings me to the conclusion that the informant was Samel John Miller Jameson. He was the husband of Maude Jameson. Since he was the informant not sure why the childs death cert. listed her father as unknown. Maybe there was a misunderstanding from the person filling it out.
