I Hopewell Adams of the County of Edgecombe in the State of North Carolina nowing the certainity of Death and that it is appointed for all men once to dye do hereby make this my last will and Testament in Manner and form following hereby revoking all wills by me here to fore made and recommend my soule unto the hands of Almighty God who gave it--
