Pitts, Anderson L. (b. ABT. 1846, d. ?)

Note: Anderson is shown on the 1850 census with F? showing unclear about sex. This could have
been listed with Matthew Jr. and have been a brother?

Note: A conflict of information apparently exist concerning Visa Pitts. Some sources indicate that she was the daughter of John and Ellen Pitts b. 5 Aug 1838 in TN.

The 1910 Census has Visia living with her son James Bynum who is 31 and his wife Anna B. It also indicates that she had 12 children with 4 living.

Note: Some source indicate Bynum rather than Byrum. The 1900 & 1910 Census indicate Bynum.

Note: Issiac matches son James of 1910 Census who was then said to be 31 years old. If this is true then his wife of 9 years would be Anna B. with parents born in AR

Note: John Pitts of Virginia has not been connected to the Matthew Pitts or William Pitts line however, it is believed that this may occur in time because of the location of the families. Matthew Pitts, Sr. was from NC.
