Thomas Newton Yardley believe to be the oldest, his son was:
John Washington and his son was:
Thomas Newton Yardley who moved to Texas.
Thomas Newton was the ancestor of John Yardley of Greensboro, Penn. who provided the
information.

Benjamin. came to area in 1805 to 1808. Thomas lived just South of Murfreesboro near Black Fox Springs. An Indian lived there and drove off the settlers. Thomas Yardley owned the land next to springs. There is a cemetery on land in middle of field.

Lots of Keltons, James and Elizabeth's tomb stone also still in existence. James Kelton was apparently well off. He had slaves and lots of people owed him money as recorded at the time of this death and the settlement of his estate. He had an 80 year old slave who was said to not be worth anything. Another named Boy.
