Rodgers, James Hobert (b. 12 APR 1907, d. 11 SEP 1995)
Note: Wayne Jamison remembers Uncle Hobert talking about courting around Brush Creek in his younger days. He was probably known most for developing a developing a machine to process coconut. He developed a quick freeze process to preserve the taste of fresh coconut. It was sold under several brands but the one I remember is "Southern Belle". For several years he operated the coconut processing plant and marketed the product in the area. It was also used as the prime ingredient to the Driver's Coconut Cake which was a product of a local bakery in Lebanon, Tennessee.
