Pearce, Joseph (b. , d. ?)
Note: After Joseph died, the children were all brought to Tippah Co., MS by Simon Spight, who have been related somehow.
This information and all of the Pearce information is from Becky Smith with my appreciation. She also provided the following information of interest:

Note regarding Simon Splight: "Holland's father died intestate in northwestern TN, Weakley Co., leaving a large estate which included 28 slaves. The family was somehow connected to Simon R. Spight and his family, moving the Pearch children to Ripley. He hired people and transportation to move the Pearces, their effects, and their slaves to Ripley, a 27 day journey by wagon and carriage, during the year of 1847, at a cost that exceeded their income, he maintained the Pearce children and saw to their education."
