Passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2004. Mrs. Vaughan worked as a volunteer for Baptist Hospital until her retirement, working over 10,000 hours as a Pink Lady. She was a member of Charlotte Ave. Church of Christ. She is survived by her sisters, Carrie Winkler, Dora (William) Jordan and Roberta Kinbow; her brothers, Wilmont (Delcie) Winkler and Charles (Margaret) Winkler and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 18, 2004 at Pettus-Owen & Wood with Minister Darrell Blankenship officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Nephews will serve as Active Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Elders and Deacons of Charlotte Ave. Church of Christ. Visitation with the family will on Friday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and 4 - 8 p.m. at PETTUS-OWEN & WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 4506 Charlotte Ave., (615) 292-3392.
