Tn. by 1870 Census (1817)?
Rutherford County, Tn.
Unknown but believed to be Jamison Cemetery
Caroline's family apparent moved into Warren Co., TN and were first recorded in the 1840 Census in Warren Co. Samuel Fulks and Allen Jamison were apparent fairly close neighbor because of their positions in the census records. They also both are found later in Rutherford Co., in Eastern Rutherford Co., near Readyville.
Caroline was 45 in the 1860 Census living in Rutherford Co., TN inMcCracken ward. She is recorded with Allen and household in 1870 as wellat 53.
She is no longer shown as part of the Calvin Jamison household in 1910 as she was in 1900. Although she apparently died between 1900 and 1910, wehave found no record of her death has been found nor where she wasburied. We have always assumed she was buried with Allen in the family cemetery.
In the 1880 (as Caroline Jamerson) and 1900 Census records, she livedwith Calvin Jamison, her youngest son.
Tom Bell's FULKS line is from Cannon Co. His 3rd great Aunt married William Jameson. Her name was Nancy Emeline Bell. Her niece married aFulks. Most of these families moved on to Missouri and Arkansas in the1840's.
Tom's research files indicates: Children of Levisa Tennison and Samuel Fulks:
Caroline m, Allan Jamison
Elizabeth bc 1815 and m. a Bragg
Samuel bc 1810 m Sarah Bell.
Levisa was the daughter of Abraham Tennison, Jr. She was born in Edgecombe Co., NC circa 1783 mc 1808 in Rutherford Co., TN. Samuel was bc 1772 in NC and died 8 Aug, 1860 in Readyville , TN.
Nancy Emeline Bell married William Jameson in Cannon Co. June 18, 1840.William appears to have been born circa 1823 in Kentucky. His Sarah Bell who married Samuel Fulks in Shelby CO. on July 23, 1838. Tom has this also recorded in Cannon Co. in which case this would. make her Nancy Emeline`s niece. There are other allied families in this area. James Bell, David Hollis, and James Berry married Lewis sisters from MadisonCo., Ky. Brothers and sisters of Nancy Bell Jameson married intoTennison, Russells(3), Hollis, and Burgie families. Lastly, Esther Lewis, my 4th gg grandmother, was a Todd, related to the Todds of Cannon Co., according to Tom Bell.

Some records has her name as Perthenia rather than Parthenia. We assumePerthenia is incorrec t due to the nature of Census taking during theperiod and others have the name Parthenia.
A Parthuna Winkler was listed in the membership of the Church of Christwho met at the Bagda d Meeting House, county of Jackson, State ofTennessee which was established in 1844. This i s believed to b eParthenia who is listed as number 76 in the records.
Parthenia Sloan Winkler was in the 1830 Smith Co., TN Census without herhusband but with 7 ch ildren (5 boys). Since one of the boys was lessthan 5 years old, it is assumed that Ephrai m died between 1825 to 1930.
