JAMISON, Pauline Harris Age 93 of West Morelan, passed away March 27,2009. Born near Erin, T N on November 13, 1915 to the late J. L. Harrisand Bessie McNichols Harris, Pauline attende d schools in Ho uston Countyand graduated from Houston County High. She and 3 of her sisters , Opha,Carmel and Irene, traveled throughout the Eastern United States andCanada, singing fo r evangelistic campaigns duri ng her teen years. Shemarried Rev. J. L. Jamison and moved to P avo, GA. She supported herhusband's ministry in the Church of the Nazarene in Pavo, Mancheste r,Cairo, Thomaston and Nashville, Georgia . After Rev. Jamison's death shereturned to the Man chester, Georgia area. Later, health concerns causedher to return to Tennessee to be near he r daughter. She was preceded indeath by her husband of 33 years, Rev. J. L. Jamison; her pare nts, J. L.Harris and Bessie Harris; brothers, David Harris, Comer Harris, RaymondHarris and J ohn Wesley Harris; and by her sisters, Virginia Bjorling,Opha Rob inson, Carmel Powell and Op al Kessler. She is survived by hersisters, Irene Rocos and Evon Samuelson of Tennessee Ridge , TN, ErmaCarson of Cumberland City, TN; her brother, Russell Harris of Tenness eeRidge, TN ; her daughter, Sylvia (Frank) Ruckman of Westmoreland, TN; hersons, Harris Jamison of Palm S prings, CA and John (Lillian) Jamison ofHobe Sound, FL; seven grandchildren, Barbara Lynne J a mison, Laura BethJamison, Franklin (Stephanie) Ruckman, Jr., John (Kreslyn) Ruckman, Amy(Jo sh) Curell, Charlie (Morgan) Jamison and Emily Jamison. She is alsosurvived by thirteen great -grandchildre n and numerous nieces andnephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday f rom 4 p.m. to 8p.m. The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday, at the Erin Church of theNazarene, fol lowed by the burial in th e Erin City Cemetery, with Rev.Kyle Poole officiating.
