The Information for the Rachael Opkyke connection comes from a JamesonGenealogy found by Step hen Harter, 1986, among his grandmother'swritings. There were no sources included, but the na mes, places and datesseem to correlate with my own research, therefore I have given themcrede nce, especially considering the dearth of documented information onthis family. The Opdykes h ave been in America since the early 1600s,settling the York and Adams Counties region of Penn sylvania. The StephenHarter information is from the website, "Jameson Perspective".
This information from Edna Barney
The children in that source are the same as with the first wife so unknowwho is the parent. B ut since the children have different dates of birth, perhaps the father, i.e. John is a differ ent John that the one listed,i.e. two different families.
