Jess Elmer Dailey, 84, of 549 Laura Lee, Fayetteville, Ark., died Nov.11, 1991, at the Depart ment of Veterans Affairs Medical Center inFayetteville. He was born Nov. 28, 1906, at Kingsto n, Ark., the son ofFrank and Eliza Whorton Dailey. He was retired from the produce andlivesto ck business, a member of the North Street Church of Christ and aveteran of World War II, serv ing in the U.S. Army. H e was a member ofHayes-Smith Post #137, American Legion at Huntsville .

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Clara M. Vanderpool Dailey of the home;three daughters, Mrs . Bill (JoAnn) Woodward of Springdale, Mrs. Huston(Joice) Givens of Fayetteville, and Mrs. Ch ester (Janic e) Hayes ofSumter, S.C.; three grandsons, Denny Woodward and Mike Givens, both o fFayetteville, and James Woodward of Springdale; four granddaughters, MissMelissa Givens of F ayetteville, Miss Sarah Hayes, Miss Laura Hayes, andMiss Kate Hayes, all of Sumter, S.C.; thr ee nephews, Don Burney ofBerryville, Dany Bolinger of Huntsville, and James Dailey of Lowell ; andtwo nieces, Mrs. Nadine Swain o f Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mrs. JanetteWest of West For k.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, in the chapel ofBrashears Funeral Home wit h Jim Caldwell, minister, officiating.Interment will be in Huntsville Cemetery under the dire ction of Brashears Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Denny Woodward, James Woodward, Mike Givens, DonBurney, Danny Bolinger an d James Dailey.

Memorials may be made to the North Street Church of Christ Bus Fund.

Mrs. Grace Anne Burney, 76, of Kingston, died Feb. 14 in HuntsvilleMemorial Hospital. Born Ja n. 15, 1905, at Kingston, she was the daughterof George F. and Eliza Whorton Dailey. She wa s a member of the Church ofChrist.

Survivors include her husband, A. C. Burney of the home; a son, DonaldFrank Burney of Berryvi lle; two brothers, Jess Dailey of Fayetteville andWillie Dailey of Huntsville; a sister, Mrs . Maggie Boli nger ofHuntsville; and two grandchildren.

Services were Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Brashears FuneralHome, in Huntsville, wit h Don Edwards officiating. Burial was in theKingston Cemetery under direction of Brashears.

Alfred Cloud Burney, 88, of Kingston, died March 24, 1985, at theVeterans Administration Medi cal Center in Fayetteville. He was bornOctober 29, 1896, at Kingston, the son of Robert and N ancy Guess B urney.He was a farmer, a member of the Kingston Church of Christ, a veteran ofWo rld War One, serving in the U.S. Army, and a member of American LegionPost #230 at Kingston . He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. GraceAnne Dailey Burney on February 14, 1981.

Survivors include one son, Donald Frank Burney of Berryville; one sister,Mrs. Lona Byers of K ingston; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday, March 26, in the chapel of BrashearsFuneral Home with Don Edwa rds, minister, officiating. Interment was inthe Kingston Cemetery under the direction of Bras hears Funera l Home.

Pallbearers were John D. Little, Fuller Holt, Kenneth Wright, DennisEoff, Lee Howard and Comb s Stamps.

Mrs. Clara Mae Dailey, 72, of 549 Laura Lee, Fayetteville died April 3,1996, at Northwest Med ical Center in Springdale. She was born Dec. 30,1923, at Wesley, Ark., the daughter of Willia m Edward and Ethel MaeFaulkner Vanderpool. She was a member of the North Street Church ofChri st in Fayetteville, a retiree of Levi Strauss and a volunteer at theV.A. Medical Center in Fa yetteville. She was pre ceded in death by herhusband, Jesse E. Dailey on Nov. 11, 1991; one b rother, Charles E.Vanderpool on Aug. 14, 1982; and one sister, Mrs. Euna Bell Stansell onDec . 2, 1994.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Bill (JoAnn) Woodward ofSpringdale, Mrs. Huston (Joic e) Givines of Fayetteville and Mrs. Chester(Janice) Hayes of Wichita Falls, Tex.; three broth ers, Ed Vand erpool ofUpland, Calif., Bill Vanderpool and Paul Vanderpool, both of Huntsville ;one sister, Mrs. Iva Lee Evans of Huntsville; seven grandchildren; andone great-grandchild.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 6, in the chapel ofBrashears Funeral Home with J im Caldwell, minister, officiating.Interment was held in the Huntsville Cemetery under the di rection of Brashears Funeral Home.
