Huntsville - Ted Mason Steeley, 71 of Huntsville, died Tuesday at aSpringdale hospital. Bor n Oct. 4, 1902 in Carthage, Mo., he was the sonof Basil and Stella Mason Steeley.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Ester Miller Steeley of the home; onedaughter, Mrs. Nadin e Barnes of Raytown, Mo.; two grandchildren and onegreat-grandchild.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Brashears Funeral Home withburial in Gross Cemeter y.

She was born in Japton February 1, 1907.
Survivors are three daughters, Goldie Gleason, Dallas, Oregon, Sylvia B.Davenport, Lebanon, O regon, and Esther Barber, Salem, Oregon; three sons,Vernon Drain, Homedale, Idaho, Loren Drai n, Springdal e, and Ted Drain,Dallas, Oregon; two step-sons, Herb and Archie Dixon, Portland , Oregon; astep-daughter, Eleanore Stranger, Minneapolis, Minn.; a brother, LorenMiller, Swee t Home, Oregon; three sis ters, Esther Steeley, Huntsville,Lora Davenport, Sweet Home, Oregon , and Wilma Garrett, Dallas, Oregon; 31grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
Services were at 1:30 March 14 at Rigdon-Ransom Colonial Chapel, Salem,Oregon, with Rev. Me l Brower officiating. Interment was in BelcrestMemorial Park, Salem, Oregon.

Adam V. Drain, 58, resident of Elkins community died Tuesday morning in aFayetteville hospita l following a short illness. Mr. Drain was bornOctober 9, 1903 at Asher, son of the late Samu el and Froni a Drain.
Survivors are three sons, Vernon Drain, L. D. Drain, and Ted Drain, allof Wilder, Idaho; thre e daughters, Mrs. Sylvia Davenport of Lebanon,Ore., Mrs. Goldie Ledbetter and Miss Esther An n Drain of As her; sixsisters, Mrs. Martha Miller of Rogers, Mrs. Rudy Hill and Mrs. DellaCom bs, both of Thorney, Mrs. Flora Drain and Mrs. Ida Dunaway, both ofAsher and Mrs. Nervia Mead ow of Fayetteville; and n ine grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m., Friday at the Plainviewschool, by Rev. Claude C ounts. Burial was at Dunaway cemetery at Asherunder the direction of Nelson's Funeral Home.

BOYD, JOHN WESLEY - a lifelong Knoxville resident and ardent TennesseeVols fan, died Monday e vening, March 22, 2010 at the age of 74. John lostthe battle with pneumonia but won what he c onsidered th e most importantfight of all at his home among loved ones. An honest, good man a nd atireless worker, John was born in Murfreesboro on April 9, 1935. Aftermoving to Knoxville , he met the love of his life, Bobbie Daniels, at age17. They had six children and remained r ock solid through all of life'sups and downs for 57 years. He was of the Baptist faith and lo ved theLord. He was preceded in dea th by mother and father, Eugene and JohnnieCatherine Boyd , and infant daughter, Katherine Elizabeth Boyd.
