One source believes William Jameson's wife was Nancy Green but thisresearcher cannot find pro of.

Denzil & Barbara Garrison research indicates that the date of marriagewas 29 Sep 1796 as wel l as information from Debbra Szymanski: Believesthat William Jameson married Nancy Kirkha m September 29, 1796 inWoodford Co., KY. She also found James Jameson b. abt. 1810 KY and Ro bertJameson b. abt. 1820 marrying Narcissa Espy on July 12, 1855 Cannon Co.,TN. The former r ecord also indicates that s he died in Rutherford Co.,TN and was buried in the Evergreen Ceme tery.

The book on Kentucky Marriages indicates that William Jamison marriedNancy Kirkham on Octobe r 3, 1794 by J. Dupuy.

No line blood connection determined to Nancy Jameson but included here toshow why none is fou nd due to the name of the descendants. LDS Record: James JAMESON (AFN:1T2X-G3T)

In records from Rutherford Co., TN : Jamison, James & Sarah Lorance -Jan 9,1841

James maybe the brother of Thomas Allen but no proof. Some speculationindicated that perhap s Thomas Allen's brother could have been a WilliamJameson b. KY who married Nancy Emilene Bel l. The search goes on.

James is recorded as being born in Kentucky as at least one record ofAllen. He and two child ren lived in the Flemings District of RutherfordCo. and were enumerated on the 13th day of Se ptember 1850 . James' motherNancy and perhaps his sister Martha Rodgers are also living wit h him.

Unknown but there is a James Jamison m. Sarah Lorance on Jan 9, 1841 inRutherford Co., TN

Noting the birthdays of the Rodger children in James' household, the moveto Tennessee from Ke ntucky was between 1827 and 1835 because of thebirths of the children. Thomas Allen was in th e state at t he 1840 censusas well as married with children. He married in 1835 to Carolin e who wasborn in TN. Their first child James was born in 1836 in Tennessee.

From FamilySearch.org ddbhgarrison2695391

James was head of the household in the 1850 Census of Rutherford Co., Tn.He must have bee n a widower because a wife is not shown and he has twochildren, William A. (10) and Sarah (7) . Thanks to Cindy L. Marcell for Notes on Martha and other family members:

I do believe you have found another of Martha Jameson Rodger's brothers,Samuel Thomas Jameson /Jemison (Grandma always pronounced it likeJimison). The 1860 Census revealed great informati on. First of all -Arie, I do believe, has been found, and with children. Second, herbrother , James, that she was living in the household with in 1850, nowhas a new wife, Margaret. Some one wrote me about this m arriage and Ibelieve her name is Espey and they married in 1856. Ja mes was a widowerin the 1850 Census of Rutherford Co. with William A. (10) and Sarah (7).Als o he is shown with a brother, Robert ( 30) and his Mother, NancyKirkham Jameson (70) - plu s a widowed sister, Martha Jameson Rodgers (50)and her two children, James Green Rodgers (23 ) and Sarah (15). WilliamA(lexander) Jameson, the son of James, Martha's brother, married a J aneWebber and by 1880 they are living next to James Green Rodgers in BentonCo., AR. with Jane 's Father, John A. Webber. It must be noted, thatMartha Melvina R odgers, a daughter of Jame s Green and Ruamah ElizabethRodgers, married Mr. Webber, Jane's Father, after her 1st husband , Mark.D. Allen, d. bef 1880, and 2nd husband, Allen Rich, d. Jan 1898. Mattieand John Webbe r married sometime after 1898. (When I would ask Grandmaabout her sister Mattie, she would sa y that her name was Rich - then -Allen - and on- and on - and finally she decided that she ha d married aMark Allen Rich ------not so -----I do hope this is correct - courtrecords of marr iage and newspaper article about of Allen Rich.
