Obituary: Jesse L. Andrews
FRANKLIN - Jesse Lee Andrews, 71, of Franklin died June 28, 2003, at St.Thomas Hospital in Na shville.
The Macon County, Tenn., native was a member of Barbe Baptist Church, anArmy veteran and a re tired owner of Andrews Trailer Park. He was a son ofthe late Jesse James Andrews and Martha B rooks Andrew s.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home withburial in Providence Cem etery in Simpson County. Visitation is inprogress today at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Mae Forshee Andrews; three daughters,Debbie Eaton, Sherry Cu lbreath and Sheilah McClure and her husband,Scott, all of Franklin; two sisters, Louise Kinna ird of India napolis andLucy Turns of Orlando, Fla.; three brothers, Wesley Andrews and Willi eAndrews, both of Indianapolis and Jim Andrews of Franklin; eightgrandchildren; two great-gra ndchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. McDaniel proudly served in the United States Army in the 816 Med Air Evacuation Squadrant in World War II with the air evacuation unit in the European front from 1941 to 1945. Mr. McDaniel worked for Elwyn's Dry Cleaning for a couple of years and soon after he began to work in funeral service on April 6, 1950, and graduated from St. Louis College of Mortuary Science in 1952. It was then that McDaniel Funeral Homes were established. Mr. McDaniel served the Sparta area as a funeral director/embalmer for over 57 years until he retired at the age of 91. He was active at the Sparta Gospel Chapel for over 58 years and presently attended Bethel Reformed Presbyterian Church in Sparta, Ill. He had also been active in the Youth for Christ. He was past president of the Sparta Rotary Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Carolyn "Callie", nee Myers, McDaniel; his sister, Mildred Stringfellow who passed at the age of 97; a brother, Wilbur McDaniel who also passed at the age of 97; and son-in-law, Eric Dearbaugh.
Surviving are his wife, G. June, nee Word, McDaniel of Sparta whom he married on Nov. 26, 1945; two children, Richard (Lois) McDaniel of Sparta, Ill., and Vicki (Vic) Hamer of Sparta, Ill.; five grandchildren, Amy (Seamus) Kloos, Leslie (Jeffery) Sauzek, Lindsey (Benjamin) Newton, Drew (Danielle) Hamer and Luke (Tracy) Hamer; and 11 great-grandchildren, Cormac, Nora, Patrick and Kerry Kloos, Jared, Katie and Libby Sauzek, Samuel, Caroline and Elisabeth Newton and Elliana Hamer.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Bethel Reformed Presbyterian Church Roof Fund or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, at the McDaniel Funeral Home, Sparta, Ill., with Rev. Robert Ellis officiating. Interment will be in Caledonia Cemetery, Sparta, Ill.

Obituary: Ida L. (Andrews) Kinnaird
Ida L. (Andrews) Kinnaird, 74, died Wednesday, March 31, 2004, at herresidence in Indianapoli s.
She was born Sept. 11, 1929, in Macon County, Tenn. Her parents wereJesse James and Martha Be ll (Brooks) Andrews. She married the Rev. PaulH. Kinnaird on July 27, 1946, in Franklin, Ky . He survives. Othersurvivors include four sons, Larry G., Jeffrey J., Joseph L. andChristoph er H. Kinnaird, all of Indianapolis; a daughter, Paula Piper ofIndianapolis; three brothers , Wesley Andrews of Cloverd ale, WilliamAndrews of Indianapolis and James Andrews of Franklin , Ky.; 21grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death bytwo daughte rs, Gwendolyn Sue Davis and an infant d aughter; a brother,Jesse Lee Andrews; a sister, Luc y Turns; and a grandchild, MarcusKinnaird.
She attended the Baptist church.
The Rev. William Marvin conducted a service Sunday at Forest Lawn WilsonSt. Pierre Funeral Ho me, Greenwood Chapel. Entombment was at Forest LawnMemory Gardens in Greenwood.
