Boyd andbeing duly sworn upo n his oath states that he is a son of John Boyddeceased who entered & patented the N 2 of N E 4 Sec 5 Tp 2 5 Range 31June 1, 1845, that the said John Boyd died intestate in the year 184 6leaving as his widow, Martha Boyd who died about 1852 and as his childrenthe following name d persons, David F. Boyd, W illiam M. Boyd, Ibbie Boyd,Rose Boyd, Joseph Alexander Boyd, Joh n W. Boyd, Joel M. Boyd, MarthaBoyd, James T. Boyd, Margaret S.E. Boyd. Ibbie Boyd married Jo hn Boyd, acousin, and died about 1857 le aving 3 children, Elizabeth, William Y,Ruann Boyd. J ohn Boyd, her husband, afterwards married Martha Boyd, asister of Ibbie Boyd. Rose Boyd marri ed a cousin, James H. Boyd, and diedabout 1858, leav ing three children E.D., Arabella, and M ary S. Boyd.John W. Boyd died about 1857 leaving a widow, Melvina, 2 children Henry &Mary Boy d. That the above is true to the best of knowledge and belief.
