Larry Thomas Morgan, age 60, of the Coleytown Community of Macon County, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 8, 2008 at his residence.

Larry Thomas Morgan was born on Thursday, November 20, 1947 in Wilson County, Tennessee, one of two siblings born to Climath Carole Powell Morgan, who survives and lives in Macon County and the late Thurman Otis Morgan, who preceded him in death on December 4, 1970. He was married to the former Wanda Faye Mahaney on December 4, 1970, who survives. Besides his father, a granddaughter, Makaya Carter preceded him in death. He was retired from TRW Ross Gear in Lebanon, where he had worked for 41 years and was currently working at Mueller Refrigeration in Hartsville. He loved farming and presently had tobacco crops. He served his Country in the United States Army and was a member of the Haysville Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to his wife of 37 years and his mother, he is survived by, son, Jeff (Evette) Morgan, daughters, Kim (Shawn) Carter, Lori (Clint) Carter, sister, Sherry (Jeff) Massey, grandchildren, Kendrick & Keeley Carter, Allye & Collin Morgan, Morgan & Cadence Carter, and nephew and niece, Thomas & Mary Massey.

James Reeves, Donnie Gregory, Donnie Bowman, Ray Mason, Tom King, Leland Hargis, and Thomas Massey served as Honorary Pallbearers. James Mahany, Terry Doss, Kelvin Stevens, Kevin Kirby, James Ford, Tim Reeves, Randy Reeves, and Derek Sanders served as Active Pallbearers.

Interment was in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.

Lena Morgan passed away Monday morning, January 7, 2008 at the Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville, TN.

She was born July 24, 1926 in Macon County, TN, the daughter of the late Don and Della Ford Jones. On December 23, 1950, she married R. C. Morgan, who survives. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Charles Allen Jones. She was a homemaker and a member of the Meadorville Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors besides her husband, R. C. of 57 years include: Sons, Andy and Randy Morgan; grandsons and their wives, Anthony & Melissa Morgan, Darrell & Sherri Morgan all of Lafayette, TN, 6 great-grandchildren.

Interment was in the Drury Cemetery.
Her pallbearers were Anthony Morgan, Darrell Morgan, Donnie Morgan, Ronnie Morgan, Roger Jones and Mike Tatum.

Ora May (Cox) Golden lived to be 93 years old. She was a school teacher at 'Old North Greasy School' in Bunch, OK. She never remarried after marriage to Clarence Bradley Golden ended in divorce. Two children: Kenneth and Jack Golden.

Edna Seagraves, 89, Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., died April 30, 2003 at The Palace in Red Boiling Springs.

She was a member of the Days Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church.

Born in Macon County, Tenn., she was a daughter of the late William F. and Ada (Cox) Steen and the wife of Fred Wesley Seagraves, who died Jan. 9, 1980. They were married Dec. 24, 1935.

Survivors include a foster daughter and her husband, Lorene and Odean Harp, Lafayette, Tenn.; a son and daughter-in-law, James and Hollis Seagraves, Hartsville, Tenn.; a sister, Euda Pipkin, Old Hickory, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Lisa Bandy and Marty and Greg Seagraves, all of Hartsville; two foster grandchildren, Teresa Costanzo and Chris Harp, both of Lafayette; four great-grandchildren and two foster great-grandchildren.

Burial was at the Anderson and Son Memorial Park.

Serving as pallbearers were Chris Harp, Pete Denning, Tony White, Randy East, Thomas Wayne Stinson and Donnie Brown. Honorary pallbearer was Fred Pipkin, Jr.

Willa Dean Roark Driver, age 82, of the Midway Community in Allen County, KY, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Macon County General Hospital. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, November 21, at 1 p.m., from chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Jeff Blackwell officiating. Chris Phillips, Shane Phillips, Randy Driver, Jerry Driver, Chris Schlafke, and James Ray served as pallbearers. Interment followed in the Anderson Memorial Park.

She was born on October 20, 1927 in Allen County, KY, to her parents; the late Connie Carson and Ercie Lillian Franklin Roark.

Willa Dean was married on December 1, 1945 to Calvin, better known as, Quentin Driver, they shared a wonderful fifty-two years together and raised a son and two daughters, Quentin preceded her in death on February 25, 1997. Besides her husband, Willa Dean was also preceded in death by her Father, Connie Carson Roark, Mother, Ercie Lillian Roark, Brothers, Melvin, Blondell, and Murl Thomas Roark, Sister, Trevell Roark, Son-in-law, Richard Phillips.

Willa Dean worked for Imperial Reading until it closed in 1978, then she went to work for Lafayette Apparel where she retired in 1995. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking for her family; never did you go to her home that she did not have something on the stove. Willa Dean was a dedicated mother, granny, and great-granny, whose life revolved around her family. She was a member of the Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Willa Dean will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mr. Darrel Driver, age 63, of Lafayette, passed away late in the evening on Friday October 15 at the Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette. Funeral Services for Mr. Darrel Driver were conducted on Monday afternoon October 18, at 1pm from the chapel of the Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Kyle Gammons officiating. Interment followed in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park in Lafayette.
Darrel was born on December 19, 1946, to Calvin Quenton and Willa Dean Roark Driver; they both preceded him in death. He married the love of his life, Brenda Faye Shaw on June 14, 1967, sharing forty-three years together and raising two sons.
He was in the United States Army from 1966 thru 1968, serving during the Vietnam War. After returning home, he began working for different construction companies as a carpenter. Darrel retired in 2000, after working for the Driver Construction Company for several years.
He enjoyed doing wood crafting at home. Rabbit hunting and fishing were some of his favorite pass times. He also loved riding around with Brenda enjoying the countryside and going to visit the Mennonites. He had a great love for his family and cherished his grandchildren. Darrel will be greatly missed by his loving family and all who knew him.
He is survived by: wife, Brenda Driver, sons, Randy (Tammy) Driver, and Jerry (Tammy) Driver, grandchildren, Dalton Driver and Brooklyn Driver, step-grandchild, Cassie Russell, and sisters, Carol Ann (Roger) Cook, and Barbara Phillips, all of Lafayette, TN.

MRS. BRENDA FAYE DRIVER – age 63 of Lafayette, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at the Macon County General Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral Services for Mrs. Brenda Faye Driver were conducted Wednesday, at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Kyle Gammons officiating. Tony Stinson, Gary Stinson, Larry Shaw, Rex Shaw, Dalton Driver, Austin York, Jerry Driver, and Randy Driver served as Pallbearers. Interment followed in the Anderson and Son Memorial Park. On May 9, 1948, Brenda Faye Shaw was born to the late Coy Rex Shaw and Flossie Naomia Stinson Shaw. She was one of four siblings born to this union.

Brenda was married on June 14, 1967 to her sweetheart Quentin "Darrel" Driver, sharing forty-three years together and raising two sons, Jerry and Randy. Darrel preceded her in death on October 15, 2010. Besides her husband and parents; one brother, Bruce Shaw also preceded her in death.

She worked as a seamstress for Imperial Reading for several years, and later she was employed by Form-fit Rogers for a period of time. Brenda retired in 2000 after twenty-plus years of working in the garment industry.

After retiring, Brenda focused her attention on caring for her family. When Brenda was with her children and grandchildren, her day was complete. In her spare time, she would work on piecing quilts. Brenda also enjoyed reading books and watching the birds eat from the feeders that her son had built for them.

In more recent years, she had rekindled her love for going to the High School football games and supporting her grandson in his endeavors. Most importantly, as a young girl Brenda was saved and united with the Lord's church at Rough Hill. She remained a member of Rough Hill Missionary Baptist Church until her passing. Her family and friends will have a huge empty spot in their hearts, but our loss is Heaven's gain.

She is survived by; Sons, Jerry (Tammy) Driver, and Randy (Tammy) Driver, Grandchildren, Dalton and Brooklyn Driver, and Cassie Russell all of Lafayette, TN, Sister, Kay (Marshall) Harwood of Holland, KY, and Brother, Rocky (Vanessa) Shaw of Scottsville, KY. Alexander Funeral Home, Directors, in charge of arrangements.

Driver Rondall Allen [Male] b. 7 NOV 1963 Lebanon, Wilson Co., TN - d. 29 DEC 2012 Anderson Memorial Gardens, Lafayette, Macon Co., TN

Rondall Allen Driver was born in Lebanon, Tennessee, on November 7th, 1963 to the late Earlie G. and Clara Nell Gregory Driver. He was one of four siblings born to this union. As a young man, Rondall was married and had one daughter and two sons.

Rondall worked for TL Martin Trucking as a truck driver. He was an avid horseman, and loved his quarter horses. He also enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles. Most importantly, as a young man, Rondall was saved and united with Enon Missionary Baptist Church where he remained a member.

On December 29th 2012 the Lord called this cowboy home, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Graveside service for Rondall Driver was conducted Sunday at 3 pm from the Anderson & Son Memorial Memorial Park. Interment will follow.

Rondall is survived by: Daughter, Brooke (John Ross) McGuire of Glasgow, KY, Sons, Lane Driver, and Lee Driver of Fountain Run, KY, Grandchildren, Gavin and John Hayden McGuire of Glasgow, KY, Sisters, Kaye Driver of Lafayette, TN, Faye (Clifton) Sadler of Portland, TN, Kathy (George) McAmis Madison, AL, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
