Mary White Jameson, daughter of Thomas Hamilton Jameson and Catherine Donnelly Jameson, was born January 8, 1861. She was most likely named for her aunt, Mary McKeough Donnelly White. Molly, as she was affectionately known to family and friends, never married. In 1910, at the age of 49, Mary was found residing with her sister, Nancy "Tennessee" Jameson Miller and her husband, Gustavus Hindman Miller, in Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee. In less than a decade later, Mary White Jameson passed away on February 26, 1919. She was buried in the Jameson Family Cemetery in Rutherford County, Tennessee. Volume II of the Rutherford County Cemetery Book, indicates that the Jameson cemetery is located in the Webb's Quadrangle, 1/8 mile east of Millersburg Cemetery, and about 300 feet south of the road in a field surrounded by a clean iron fence.
